Gallipoli and the Isle of Wight Rifles

There will be a talk by David Langford on Gallipoli and the Isle of Wight Rifles on the 13th of August at 7pm in St Swithin's Church, Thorley.  The 10th of August 1915 was a disastrous day for the Rifles and the talk will cover this battle in Gallipoli.

Before that at 6pm you are invited to bring WW1 related artefacts to talk to the Curator of Carisbrooke Castle Museum and David Langford about them or to have them interpreted or to seek information.  The talk will follow on from this session at 7pm.
