Yesterday afternoon, around fifty people from arts and heritage
organisations across the island packed Carisbrooke Castle Museum's
galleries for our First World War Centenary funding briefing.
The event included briefings on key funding and partnership
opportunities, networking and 5-minute 'speed dating' sessions with
funders and key contacts.
Delegates made the most of the opportunity to progress their ideas
and get resources to help them. Said one: 'The event was excellently
arranged, with lots of information, and most able speakers.' Our warm
thanks go to everyone at Carisbrooke Castle Museum, the Imperial War
Museum and the Heritage Lottery Fund who contributed to the success of
the afternoon.
